The V450CP series includes short-stroke compact hydraulic cylinders with linear movements, possibile double rod, steel bodies, and two integrated cooling systems. The standard version includes piston bores piston rods from 40 to 63 mm, and strokes from 20 to 120 mm.

Their in-line fixings by means of passing-through holes allow our customers to install the cylinder according to its length. The main application of these cylinders is to move all those components—such as carts, pins, and plugs—that might produce undercuts in plastic injection molds.

The V450CP series includes hydraulic cylinders with 2 integrated cooling systems, and they are especially designed to abate very high temperatures in aluminum die-casting and plastic injection molds.

V450CP-D cylinders are usually employed both to move and cool down at the same time several mold components with 2 different fluid circuits.

V450CP-R cylinders include a front cartridge cooling system by means of a low-pressure circuit with no external encumbrance. These cylinders are specifically designed to produce a “squeeze” effect in aluminum die-casting situations. The maximum working temperature of the cooling liquid should not be above 150°C. The cylinder nominal pressure is 10 bars, and its delivery is 3 l/m.

These heavy duty hydraulic cylinder feature a high-workability steel body, with high-quality chromium-molybdenum steel rods and pistons, with no moils. The sealing system of both cartridges includes a scraper and 2 Viton O-rings. These components allow the cylinder sealing system to last over long periods of time.

V450CP cylinders are compatible with ISO VG 46 mineral and water-glycol mixtures.

The piston stroke can be controlled by means of mechanical or inductive sensors. Signals can be transferred to the plastic injection machine. The maximum working temperature for inductive sensors is 80° C., whereas mechanical ones can withstand temperatures up to 180°C.

The maximum working pressure is 450 bars, and the maximum delivery goes from 7 to 45 l/min.
